For the purposes of this Policy:
“Traveller” means the person(s) for whom a booking has been made or payment has been received.
“Booking” means a confirmed reservation for a Mickey's Links trip, departure, package, accommodation, transportation arrangement, activity, or other travel service.
The Base Package Price means the published price of the selected trip or package before:
Where the Traveller chooses the installment option:
Installment Price = Base Package Price + 15% Installment Premium
The Installment Premium is 15% of the applicable Base Package Price and applies only when the Traveller chooses the installment payment option.
“Rollover Credit” means an eligible amount actually paid toward the Base Package that is converted into travel credit following an eligible cancellation or approved change.
Rollover Credit:
is not cash;
is not a cash refund;
is not transferable to an unrelated third party;
may only be used toward eligible Mickey's Links trips/departures/services;
is subject to availability;
is subject to applicable pricing and booking conditions; and
expires according to the validity provisions of this Policy.
The Rollover Charge is a charge applicable to the second and every subsequent rollover.
It is calculated as:
25% × Published Base Package Price of the Newly Selected Trip
The Rollover Charge is payable separately and is not deducted from existing Rollover Credit.
“Add-ons and Upgrades” include any additional service, arrangement, enhancement, transportation, accommodation upgrade, activity, special request, or other service purchased separately from the Base Package.
2. PAYMENT OPTIONS
The Traveller may choose one of the following payment structures.
The Traveller may pay 100% of the Base Package Price at the time of booking.
No Installment Premium applies.
The Traveller may choose the installment option.
The applicable total Installment Price will be:
Base Package Price + 15% Installment Premium
The Installment Price will be payable as follows:
First Payment — At Booking
35% of the applicable Installment Price
Second Payment — 60 Days Before Departure
35% of the applicable Installment Price
Final Payment — 40 Days Before Departure
30% of the applicable Installment Price
All payment deadlines are calculated according to the scheduled departure date of the applicable booking.
3. PAYMENT COMMITMENT
A confirmed booking represents a financial commitment to the selected trip.
Travellers should initiate a booking only when they reasonably intend to complete the applicable payment schedule and travel.
Once a booking has been made, the Traveller is expected to comply with the agreed payment schedule.
Failure to make a scheduled payment by its applicable due date may result in the booking being suspended or cancelled.
The treatment of amounts already paid will be determined according to the applicable cancellation provisions of this Policy.
4. PAYMENT DEFAULT
If a Traveller fails to make a payment by the applicable deadline, Mickey's Links may:
issue a payment reminder;
provide a limited opportunity to cure the payment default;
suspend the booking;
cancel the booking;
release reserved inventory;
or take other reasonable operational action.
Where the booking is cancelled because of payment default:
amounts already paid may be retained in accordance with the applicable cancellation provisions;
unpaid future installments do not automatically become payable solely because the booking has been cancelled.
A booking that has been rolled over and subsequently rebooked is treated as a new booking and is subject to the payment deadlines and cancellation provisions applicable to that new booking.\
5. CANCELLATION BY THE TRAVELLER
5.1 Cancellation 60 or More Days Before Departure
If the Traveller cancels 60 or more calendar days before the scheduled departure date, the eligible amount actually paid toward the Base Package may be converted into Rollover Credit.
The first rollover is free and no Rollover Charge will apply.
No cash refund will be provided where the cancellation is handled through rollover under this provision.
5.2 Cancellation 59 Days or Less Before Departure
If the Traveller cancels 59 days or less before departure, amounts already paid may be retained as cancellation charges.
The Traveller will not ordinarily receive Rollover Credit under this provision.
The Traveller will not be required to pay unpaid future installments solely because of the cancellation.
If the Traveller fails to report for the trip or otherwise does not attend without Mickey's Links officially cancelling or suspending the trip:
no cash refund will be provided;
no rollover will be provided;
amounts already paid will be retained.
6. FIRST ROLLOVER
Where a Traveller is eligible for rollover under this Policy, the eligible amount actually paid toward the Base Package will be converted into Rollover Credit.
The first rollover is free of any Rollover Charge.
The credit may be used toward another eligible Mickey's Links trip or departure, subject to:
A rollover does not guarantee availability of the same:
7. ROLLOVER VALIDITY
Rollover Credit must be redeemed within 90 days from the date of rollover approval.
If no suitable eligible departure is available within the initial 90-day period, Mickey's Links may extend the validity of the credit up to a maximum of 120 days from the date of rollover approval.
If the credit has not been redeemed within the applicable validity period, the credit expires.
An expired credit cannot subsequently be claimed as:
except where otherwise required by applicable law.
8. SECOND AND SUBSEQUENT ROLLOVERS
Multiple rollovers may be permitted.
However, beginning with the second rollover, a Rollover Charge will apply.
The Rollover Charge is:
25% of the total published Base Package Price of the newly selected trip.
The Rollover Charge:
is payable separately;
is not deducted from existing Rollover Credit;
applies regardless of the amount of existing Rollover Credit;
applies to every rollover after the first.
If the newly selected trip has a published Base Package Price of ₹1,00,000:
Rollover Charge = 25% × ₹1,00,000 = ₹25,000
The ₹25,000 Rollover Charge must be paid separately.
9. ROLLOVER + INSTALLMENT PAYMENT
If a Traveller uses a rollover to select a new trip and chooses the installment payment option:
These charges are separate.
New trip Base Package Price: ₹1,00,000
Second rollover:
Rollover Charge = ₹25,000
Installment Premium = ₹15,000
Total applicable amount before applying existing Rollover Credit = ₹1,40,000
If the Traveller pays the new Base Package Price in full, the 15% Installment Premium does not apply.
10. IF THE NEW TRIP COSTS MORE
If the Base Package Price of the newly selected trip exceeds the available Rollover Credit, the Traveller must pay the applicable remaining amount.
The Traveller may:
pay the remaining amount in full; or
choose the applicable installment option.
If installments are selected, the applicable 15% Installment Premium applies to the new booking.
Any applicable Rollover Charge is payable separately.
11. IF THE NEW TRIP COSTS LESS
If the newly selected trip costs less than the available Rollover Credit, the remaining credit may be applied toward:
another eligible departure;
another eligible Mickey's Links trip;
an eligible upgrade; or
another eligible additional arrangement,
subject to availability, eligibility, and the remaining validity period.
Unused credit does not automatically become a cash refund.
12. MULTIPLE ROLLOVERS
Multiple rollovers may be permitted subject to this Policy.
Each subsequent rollover constitutes a new rollover event and is subject to the applicable Rollover Charge from the second rollover onward.
Every new booking created through a rollover is also subject to:
the applicable Base Package Price;
applicable payment terms;
applicable Installment Premium;
applicable Rollover Charge;
availability;
cancellation provisions; and
other applicable booking terms.
13. GROUP BOOKINGS — ONE TRAVELLER DROPS OUT
If one Traveller withdraws from a group booking and is otherwise eligible for rollover under this Policy, the eligible amount may be rolled over to the original booking holder's account.
The resulting credit remains subject to:
the applicable validity period;
eligible trip/departure availability;
applicable pricing;
Rollover Charges where applicable; and
all other provisions of this Policy.
14. CHANGES TO TRIP OR DEPARTURE
A request to change:
is treated as a change/rollover request and is not automatically considered a free cancellation.
Any requested change is subject to:
availability;
operational feasibility;
applicable rollover rules;
applicable Rollover Charges;
new trip pricing;
supplier availability;
and applicable payment terms.
A requested change does not guarantee that the original arrangements can be retained.
15. ADD-ONS, UPGRADES & ADDITIONAL ARRANGEMENTS
Once an Add-on, Upgrade, special arrangement, or additional service has been purchased and confirmed, it is considered committed.
Such items are:
non-refundable;
non-rolloverable;
non-reversible;
non-adjustable.
This applies even when the underlying Base Package qualifies for rollover.
Mickey's Links may make advance commitments to suppliers, hotels, transport operators, activity providers, guides, local operators, or other third parties in order to arrange such services.
Accordingly, amounts paid toward Add-ons, Upgrades, and additional arrangements do not automatically become part of Rollover Credit.
16. TRAVEL TO THE DEPARTURE POINT
Where the Traveller independently books and arranges transportation to the designated departure point, the Traveller is responsible for reaching the departure point on time.
The following do not ordinarily create an entitlement to refund or rollover:
flight delays;
train delays;
missed flights;
missed trains;
personal vehicle breakdown;
traffic;
personal travel delays;
failure to arrange transportation;
or other problems involving transportation independently booked by the Traveller.
16.1 Transportation Booked by Mickey's Links
Where transportation has been booked by Mickey's Links as an Add-on, Upgrade, or additional arrangement, the situation will be assessed according to the specific arrangement, applicable supplier terms, and circumstances involved.
17. FORCE MAJEURE
A Force Majeure Event means an event or circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Mickey's Links that prevents or materially affects the safe, practical, or commercially reasonable operation of a trip.
Force Majeure Events may include, without limitation:
extreme weather;
heavy snowfall;
landslides;
floods;
flash floods;
earthquakes;
natural disasters;
major road closures;
government orders or restrictions;
curfews;
civil unrest;
war;
terrorism;
serious security threats;
strikes or major disruptions;
border closures;
mountain/pass closures;
permit restrictions or cancellations;
epidemics;
pandemics;
serious safety risks;
government action;
local-authority action;
sudden restrictions affecting travel;
or any other event beyond reasonable control that prevents or materially affects the safe or practical operation of the trip.
The above examples are not exhaustive.
An event that is not specifically listed may still constitute a Force Majeure Event where it satisfies the definition above.
18. DETERMINATION OF FORCE MAJEURE
Mickey's Links will determine whether a Force Majeure Event materially affects the safety, feasibility, or practical operation of a trip.
Mickey's Links may consider:
government directions;
local-authority directions;
official advisories;
weather conditions;
road conditions;
route conditions;
local operator information;
permits;
access restrictions;
on-ground conditions;
safety assessments;
accommodation availability;
transportation availability;
and other relevant circumstances.
The assessment will focus on whether the trip can reasonably and safely operate, rather than merely whether an inconvenience exists.
19. FORCE MAJEURE BEFORE DEPARTURE
If Mickey's Links determines that a Force Majeure Event prevents or materially affects the safe or practical operation of a trip before departure, Mickey's Links may cancel or suspend the affected departure.
Where Mickey's Links officially cancels a departure because of Force Majeure, the Traveller may be offered the applicable options available under the circumstances, which may include:
The eligible amount actually paid toward the Base Package may be converted into Rollover Credit for an eligible future departure.
Where a refund is offered or otherwise applicable, the refundable amount will be determined after accounting for:
amounts recoverable from suppliers;
supplier cancellation terms;
amounts already committed;
and other non-recoverable third-party costs.
Mickey's Links does not guarantee that every amount paid to a third-party supplier will be recoverable during a Force Majeure Event.
Accordingly, the amount available for refund or credit may be limited by amounts actually recoverable from suppliers and third parties, subject always to applicable law.
20. FORCE MAJEURE AFTER THE TRIP HAS STARTED
If a Force Majeure Event occurs after a trip has commenced and the planned itinerary becomes impossible, unsafe, or impractical, Mickey's Links may:
modify the route;
reroute the trip;
change accommodation;
change transportation;
change activities;
shorten or extend portions of the itinerary;
suspend part of the itinerary;
or otherwise modify the trip as reasonably necessary.
Mickey's Links will seek to minimise disruption and provide reasonable alternative arrangements where practicable.
Depending on the circumstances, the resolution may involve a combination of:
alternative arrangements;
replacement accommodation;
alternative transportation;
itinerary modification;
pro-rata refund for undelivered services where appropriate;
rollover/credit for an unused portion where appropriate; or
other commercially reasonable arrangements.
Any refund or credit will take into account amounts actually recoverable from suppliers and third parties.
Where suppliers retain amounts because of Force Majeure or other non-recoverable costs, those amounts may not be refundable or creditable.
21. ITINERARY MODIFICATION FOR SAFETY OR OPERATIONS
Mickey's Links reserves the right to reasonably modify:
routes;
destinations;
accommodation;
transportation;
activities;
sequence of itinerary;
departure timings;
arrival timings;
or other trip components
where reasonably necessary because of:
A reasonable safety-related or operational modification does not automatically constitute cancellation of the trip or create an entitlement to a full refund.
Mickey's Links will endeavour to provide a reasonable alternative where practicable.
22. TRAVELLER VOLUNTARILY REFUSING TO CONTINUE
If a trip is operating and the Traveller voluntarily chooses not to continue because of:
the situation will generally be treated as a Traveller-initiated cancellation.
The normal cancellation and rollover provisions will apply.
This does not apply where Mickey's Links has officially suspended, cancelled, or materially discontinued the trip because of Force Majeure or another operational decision.
23. PERSONAL CIRCUMSTANCES ARE NOT FORCE MAJEURE
The following do not ordinarily constitute Force Majeure:
personal illness;
personal injury;
family emergencies;
change of plans;
work commitments;
financial difficulties;
failure to obtain required documentation;
failure to obtain a visa where applicable;
failure to reach the departure point;
personal anxiety or fear;
personal travel restrictions;
or other personal circumstances affecting the Traveller.
Travellers should consider appropriate travel insurance to protect themselves against such risks where available.
24. THIRD-PARTY SUPPLIER FAILURE
Where a supplier experiences an ordinary operational failure, Mickey's Links will make reasonable efforts to arrange an appropriate replacement or alternative service.
Where a supplier's failure itself results from a Force Majeure Event, the Force Majeure provisions of this Policy may apply.
Mickey's Links will not be responsible for providing a refund beyond amounts actually recoverable from the relevant supplier or third party, to the extent such limitation is permitted by applicable law and the circumstances.
25. NON-RECOVERABLE THIRD-PARTY COSTS
Where a refund or credit is otherwise applicable, the amount may be reduced by costs that Mickey's Links has already paid or committed to third parties and is unable to recover.
Such costs may include:
Mickey's Links will not represent a third-party amount as refundable where the relevant supplier has retained it and the amount cannot reasonably be recovered.
26. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travellers are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance appropriate to the nature and destination of their trip.
Depending on the Traveller's circumstances, insurance should be considered for:
Travel insurance is particularly recommended for Himalayan and adventure travel because of the possibility of:
Travellers should carefully review their insurer's:
before travelling.
27. REFUNDS
Mickey's Links does not provide cash refunds where this Policy expressly provides for:
Where a refund is expressly applicable under this Policy or otherwise agreed by Mickey's Links:
the refundable amount will be determined after applicable deductions and non-recoverable third-party costs;
the refund will generally be processed within 14 business days after the refundable amount has been finalised; and
the refund will be processed by bank transfer to a verified bank account.
28. AVAILABILITY & OPERATIONAL CHANGES
All trips are subject to:
operational feasibility;
supplier availability;
route accessibility;
accommodation availability;
transportation availability;
permits;
weather;
and other circumstances affecting trip operations.
Where a specific hotel, vehicle, activity, route, or other service becomes unavailable, Mickey's Links may provide a reasonably comparable alternative where practicable.
Reasonable substitutions or operational changes do not automatically constitute cancellation of the entire trip.
29. BOOKING ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By making a payment toward a booking, the Traveller acknowledges that they have:
reviewed the payment structure;
understood the payment deadlines;
understood the cancellation provisions;
understood the rollover mechanism;
understood the rollover validity period;
understood the Rollover Charges;
understood the Installment Premium;

been advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance;
and agreed to the terms of this Policy.
The Traveller acknowledges that Himalayan and adventure travel involves inherent risks associated with:
The Traveller agrees to comply with reasonable safety and operational instructions issued by Mickey's Links and its representatives.
30. APPLICABLE LAW & MANDATORY RIGHTS
This Policy shall be interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of India.
Nothing contained in this Policy is intended to:
exclude, restrict, or waive any statutory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or waived;
limit any consumer protection or other mandatory protection applicable to the Traveller;
prevent a Traveller from exercising any right that is mandatorily available under applicable law; or
create any obligation on Mickey's Links beyond those required by applicable law and the specific commercial terms expressly agreed for the Booking.
If any provision of this Policy is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a competent authority or court, that provision shall be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it lawful and enforceable, while the remaining provisions shall continue to apply.
Where any provision of this Policy conflicts with a mandatory requirement of applicable law, the mandatory legal requirement shall prevail to the extent of that conflict.
All other provisions of this Policy shall remain in full force and effect.
31. FINAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

“I have read, understood, and agreed to the Payment, Cancellation, Refund & Rollover Policy of Mickey's Links and understand that my Booking creates financial and contractual commitments subject to the terms stated herein.”
Mickey's Links reserves the right to update this Policy from time to time. The version applicable to a Booking will be the version accepted by the Traveller at the time the Booking is confirmed, subject to applicable law.
