Welcome to Mickey’s Links. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, booking services, travel packages, tours, expeditions, and related services (“Services”).

By accessing our website, making a booking, making a payment, or participating in any trip or activity operated or arranged by Mickey’s Links, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our website or book our Services.

1. About Mickey’s Links

Mickey’s Links provides and/or arranges travel experiences, including but not limited to:

• Leh-Ladakh motorcycle trips

• Spiti Valley 4x4 expeditions

• Spiti Valley motorcycle trips

• Other adventure tours, expeditions, transportation, accommodation, and travel-related services

Specific inclusions, exclusions, itinerary details, departure dates, pricing, and trip requirements may vary by package.

The terms applicable to a particular trip may also include information provided in the booking confirmation, itinerary, quotation, invoice, or other written communication issued by Mickey’s Links.

In case of a conflict, the specific terms communicated for the relevant booking will prevail over general information on the website to the extent of that conflict.

2. Eligibility

By booking a trip, you confirm that:

1. You are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

2. The information provided by you during booking is accurate and complete.

3. You meet the age, licensing, fitness, and other eligibility requirements applicable to the selected trip.

4. You will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, permits, and instructions during the trip.

For motorcycle trips, participants must possess a valid driving licence and any other documentation legally required to operate the relevant vehicle.

Mickey’s Links reserves the right to refuse participation if a participant does not satisfy mandatory eligibility requirements.

3. Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after Mickey’s Links has received the required payment and issued confirmation, subject to availability.

Submitting an enquiry, filling out a form, sending a message, or expressing interest does not constitute a confirmed booking.

Mickey’s Links may request additional documents or information before confirming participation.

4. Pricing

All prices communicated by Mickey’s Links are subject to the inclusions and exclusions specified for the relevant trip.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, the price may not include:

• Personal expenses

• Meals or services not expressly included

• Fuel or vehicle-related expenses not expressly included

• Travel to or from the departure point

• Permits or government charges introduced after booking

• Insurance

• Medical expenses

• Emergency evacuation

• Additional accommodation caused by delays or itinerary changes

• Any other expense expressly identified as an exclusion

Mickey’s Links reserves the right to correct pricing errors or update prices before a booking is confirmed.

Once a booking has been confirmed, any applicable price adjustment will be handled according to the booking terms communicated to the customer.

5. Payments

The payment schedule applicable to your booking will be communicated at the time of booking.

Payments must be made through the payment methods accepted by Mickey’s Links.

A booking may be cancelled if the required payment is not received within the specified deadline.

Any applicable cancellation or refund will be governed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy applicable to the booking.

6. Cancellation by the Customer

Customers may request cancellation of their booking.

Cancellation charges and refund eligibility will depend on:

• The date on which cancellation is requested

• The amount already paid

• Non-refundable amounts committed to third-party suppliers

• Accommodation, transportation, permits, vehicle, or other supplier cancellation policies

• The specific cancellation policy communicated for the trip

Where applicable, refunds will be processed after deducting permitted cancellation charges and non-refundable costs.

Mickey’s Links is not responsible for losses incurred by a customer due to separately booked flights, trains, accommodation, transportation, or other arrangements that are not part of the Mickey’s Links booking.

7. Cancellation or Modification by Mickey’s Links

Mickey’s Links reserves the right to cancel, postpone, modify, shorten, extend, or alter a trip where reasonably necessary.

This may occur due to:

• Severe weather

• Snowfall or landslides

• Road closures

• Government restrictions

• Local authority orders

• Natural disasters

• Strikes or civil disturbances

• Vehicle or infrastructure failures

• Safety concerns

• Medical or emergency situations

• Force majeure events

• Other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Mickey’s Links

Where reasonably possible, Mickey’s Links will attempt to provide an alternative arrangement.

Additional costs arising from itinerary changes may be payable by the participant where such costs are outside Mickey’s Links' control and are not otherwise covered by the applicable booking terms.

8. Itinerary Changes

Adventure travel, particularly in mountainous regions such as Ladakh and Spiti, is subject to conditions that cannot always be predicted in advance.

Accordingly, the itinerary shown on the website or provided during booking is an intended itinerary and not an absolute guarantee of every route, destination, activity, accommodation, or timing.

Mickey’s Links may change the route, accommodation, schedule, vehicle, activity, or sequence of destinations when necessary for operational or safety reasons.

The objective will be to provide an experience substantially consistent with the booked trip while prioritising participant safety.

9. Weather, Roads & Mountain Conditions

Participants acknowledge that mountain travel involves inherent uncertainty.

Road conditions may change rapidly due to:

• Heavy snowfall

• Rain

• Landslides

• Rockfalls

• Flooding

• Water crossings

• Ice

• Mud

• Road construction

• Traffic restrictions

• Mechanical incidents

• Government or military restrictions

Travel times displayed in itineraries are estimates only.

Delays caused by road, weather, traffic, altitude, or other circumstances outside the control of Mickey’s Links do not automatically entitle participants to compensation.

10. Altitude & Adventure Travel Risks

Trips to high-altitude regions involve inherent risks.

Participants understand that travelling to areas such as Ladakh and Spiti may involve exposure to high altitude, reduced oxygen levels, extreme temperatures, difficult terrain, dehydration, altitude-related illness, and other environmental conditions.

Participants are responsible for assessing their own suitability for the trip and should seek appropriate medical advice before travelling where necessary.

Mickey’s Links does not provide medical advice or guarantee that a participant will remain medically fit throughout the trip.

If a participant develops symptoms or a condition that makes continued participation unsafe, Mickey’s Links and/or its trip leaders may require the participant to stop an activity, descend to a lower altitude, seek medical attention, or leave the trip.

Any resulting personal, medical, evacuation, transportation, accommodation, or other expenses may be the participant's responsibility unless expressly covered by applicable insurance or booking terms.

11. Medical Fitness & Disclosure

Participants must inform Mickey’s Links before departure of any relevant medical condition, physical limitation, allergy, medication requirement, or other circumstance that could materially affect their ability to safely participate.

Participants should carry necessary personal medication and medical documentation.

Mickey’s Links may refuse participation where it reasonably believes that a participant's condition presents a significant safety risk to the participant or others.

12. Motorcycle Trips

Participants joining motorcycle trips must:

• Hold a valid licence appropriate for the motorcycle being operated.

• Follow applicable traffic laws.

• Wear required safety equipment.

• Follow instructions provided by trip leaders.

• Ride responsibly and within their ability.

• Not operate a motorcycle while impaired by alcohol, drugs, medication, fatigue, or any other substance or condition affecting safe riding.

• Not engage in racing, reckless riding, stunts, or dangerous manoeuvres.

Mickey’s Links may remove a participant from motorcycle activities if their riding creates a significant risk to themselves, other participants, staff, vehicles, or third parties.

Any resulting costs may be borne by the participant.

13. Vehicle Damage

Where a participant is provided with or rents a motorcycle, car, 4x4 vehicle, or other vehicle, the participant may be responsible for damage caused by negligent, reckless, unlawful, or unauthorised use.

The specific vehicle damage, security deposit, insurance, excess, and liability terms applicable to a particular trip will be communicated separately where applicable.

Normal wear and tear will be treated in accordance with the applicable vehicle arrangement.

14. Personal Belongings

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the trip.

Mickey’s Links is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or destruction of personal belongings unless caused directly by proven negligence or misconduct for which Mickey’s Links is legally responsible.

Participants should avoid carrying unnecessary valuables.

15. Travel Insurance

Participants are strongly advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance before departure.

Depending on the trip, appropriate insurance may include coverage for:

• Medical treatment

• Hospitalisation

• Emergency evacuation

• Adventure activities

• Trip cancellation

• Trip interruption

• Lost or damaged baggage

• Personal accident

• Other relevant risks

Participants are responsible for understanding the exclusions and limitations of their insurance policy.

Mickey’s Links does not guarantee that any particular insurance policy will cover a participant's circumstances.

16. Accommodation

Accommodation is provided according to the category and inclusions specified for the relevant trip.

In remote destinations, accommodation standards and facilities may differ from those commonly available in major cities.

Accommodation may occasionally be changed due to availability, operational requirements, weather, road conditions, safety considerations, or circumstances outside Mickey’s Links' control.

17. Food & Dietary Requirements

Participants must communicate significant dietary requirements or allergies before departure.

Mickey’s Links will make reasonable efforts to communicate such requirements to relevant service providers but cannot guarantee that food will be completely free from allergens or cross-contamination unless expressly confirmed by the provider.

Participants with severe allergies should carry appropriate medication and take necessary precautions.

18. Participant Conduct

Participants are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully toward:

• Fellow travellers

• Trip leaders

• Drivers

• Hotel and accommodation staff

• Local communities

• Other road users

• Local authorities

• The environment

Mickey’s Links may terminate a participant's participation without refund where the participant:

• Engages in abusive, threatening, violent, discriminatory, or harassing behaviour

• Endangers themselves or others

• Damages property intentionally or through reckless behaviour

• Disobeys reasonable safety instructions

• Uses illegal drugs

• Engages in unlawful activity

• Repeatedly disrupts the group or operation of the trip

Any additional costs resulting from such termination may be payable by the participant.

19. Alcohol & Substance Use

Participants must act responsibly when consuming alcohol.

Operating a vehicle or participating in an activity while impaired by alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.

Mickey’s Links may immediately prohibit a participant from driving or participating in an activity if the participant appears impaired.

No refund will necessarily be provided for activities missed due to a participant's intoxication, misconduct, or violation of these Terms.

20. Photography & Content

Mickey’s Links may photograph or record trips for legitimate business, marketing, promotional, or social media purposes.

Where required by applicable law, appropriate consent will be obtained.

Participants who do not wish to appear in promotional content should communicate this to Mickey’s Links before or during the trip.

Participants may separately create and share their own photographs and videos, provided that such content does not unlawfully infringe the rights of Mickey’s Links, its employees, partners, or other participants.

21. Third-Party Services

Certain components of a trip may be provided by independent third parties, including:

• Hotels

• Homestays

• Restaurants

• Transport providers

• Vehicle operators

• Local guides

• Activity providers

• Other suppliers

Mickey’s Links will use reasonable care in selecting and coordinating third-party providers but cannot control every aspect of their operations.

Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and conditions.

22. Force Majeure

Mickey’s Links will not be liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include, without limitation:

• Natural disasters

• Extreme weather

• Floods

• Landslides

• Earthquakes

• Avalanches

• Epidemics or pandemics

• War

• Terrorism

• Civil unrest

• Strikes

• Government restrictions

• Road closures

• Border or permit restrictions

• Military restrictions

• Infrastructure failures

• Major accidents

• Power or communication failures

• Other events beyond reasonable control

Where possible, Mickey’s Links will attempt to provide reasonable alternatives.

23. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mickey’s Links shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or unforeseeable losses arising from participation in a trip.

This may include loss of:

• Income

• Business opportunities

• Personal property

• Separately booked travel

• Time

• Non-refundable external bookings

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

24. Participant Assumption of Risk

Participants acknowledge that adventure and mountain travel inherently involve risks that cannot be completely eliminated.

By participating, participants voluntarily accept the ordinary and inherent risks associated with the activities included in their trip, subject to rights and protections available under applicable law.

Participants agree to follow reasonable safety instructions provided by Mickey’s Links, its representatives, drivers, guides, and local authorities.

25. Website Information

Mickey’s Links makes reasonable efforts to ensure that information published on its website is accurate.

However, photographs, descriptions, route information, estimated travel times, accommodation details, availability, prices, and other information may change.

Website content should not be treated as a guarantee that a particular facility, route, activity, or service will be available on a particular date.

26. Intellectual Property

All website content, including but not limited to:

• Logos

• Brand names

• Text

• Graphics

• Photographs

• Videos

• Designs

• Marketing materials

is owned by or licensed to Mickey’s Links unless otherwise stated.

No material may be reproduced, copied, modified, distributed, or commercially exploited without prior written permission.

27. Privacy

Personal information provided during enquiries, bookings, payments, and participation may be processed for purposes including:

• Booking management

• Payment processing

• Customer communication

• Trip operations

• Supplier coordination

• Legal and regulatory compliance

• Customer support

• Business administration

Personal information will be handled in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy and applicable law.

28. Changes to These Terms

Mickey’s Links may update these Terms from time to time.

The updated version will be published on the website with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Changes will generally apply to future bookings and website use unless otherwise required by law.

29. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in [City, State, India].

Before initiating formal proceedings, both parties are encouraged to attempt to resolve the dispute through good-faith discussion.

30. Severability

31. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the applicable booking confirmation, invoice, itinerary, cancellation policy, and other written terms specifically provided for the relevant trip, constitute the agreement between the participant and Mickey’s Links concerning the Services.
